But the VST instruments that I have worked with in Sonar only allow for a MIDI input. Some VST's have a separate FX version that can be inserted as an audio effect with an audio input. I've tried inserting an additional Midi Track and inserting it as an Effect in the FX Bin. I have an audio track with a vocal part and would like to try this out, but I can't seem to figure out how to run the audio into the synth. Mikebeam I just bought the Arturia V Collection and notice that it has the functionality of using some of the synths as an effect and you can run external inputs into it.
